The location was absolutely mind-blowing, with stunning views and easy access to walking trails. The cottage was clean and cozy, with all the facilities we needed including free parking and Wi-Fi. The private jetty was a super spot to relax and enjoy the lake, and the property's own path down to the shore was perfect for peaceful strolls. Easily walkable to town and nearby amenities. Fishing, no pets allowed, and no smoking on site.

The hotel's decor was absolutely delightful, with beautiful antique furnishings and cozy sitting areas that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-kept and had a warm, welcoming ambiance. As a senior woman, I appreciated that the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and handrails throughout, ensuring my safety and comfort during my stay.
I would have liked to see more activities or facilities specifically catered to senior guests. Perhaps some organized events or gentle exercise classes would have made for an even better vacation for us seniors.

The location of the property was amazing, offering lovely views of the surrounding area, including Lake Windermere and the hills beyond. the property had its own path down to the lake shore, providing easy access for leisurely walks. the allocated parking spaces were also a great bonus in an area where parking can be a hassle.
The overall cleanliness of the accommodation was not up to standard. There were dusty skirting boards and uncleaned areas behind furniture, which was quite off-putting.

This place is absolutely mind-blowing! The location is super, with stunning views and great access to walking trails. The cleanliness of the cottage is top-notch, and the little jetty is a jaw-dropping spot to relax by the lake. The facilities are amazing, with two digital radios and even a cushion for the outside bench. Free parking is a big plus and the Wi-Fi, although a bit glitchy, worked when we needed it. The cottage comfortably accommodated three adults and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Oh, and bonus points for no pets allowed and no smoking on site.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The cleanliness of the cottage was excellent and it had all the facilities I needed, including two digital radios and a cushion for the outside bench. The views over the lawned area to the lake and hills beyond were lovely. And two allocated parking spaces was a great bonus in an area where parking is usually paid. The hotel also had its own path down to the lake shore, and I could easily walk to the center of town in just 15 minutes. The peaceful location made it easy for me to explore other beautiful villages and attractions in the Lake District.
Don't have any issues at all.

My recent stay at Priory Ghyll was wonderful. The location was perfect for all the activities I had planned, from walking to enjoying the beautiful views. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, making it a comfortable and relaxing space to unwind. I particularly loved the little jetty by the lake, where I could sit and soak in the fine scenery. And two allocated parking spaces was a huge convenience, especially in an area where parking can be a challenge. I highly recommend this place for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.
While the overall experience at Priory Ghyll was fantastic, there were a couple of minor drawbacks. the second bedroom with bunk beds was a bit small, which might be a tight fit for four adults.
